Wow, that looks great! Replace the transformer with a human protagonist and the game seems like an enjoyable action adventure game, but throw in the Transformers element and it looks amazing! The only thing missing its the sense of scale, but done there are only other giant mechs, there's nothing to be compared to.

On the other hand, wish some gaming media would have the balls to ask them how they can live with themselves churning out the absolute ass that was Dark of the Moon the game.

Still pretty bummed that they changed their mind about the PC version. I love War for Cybertron on the PC and this looks ten times better.
to be fair, I thought Dark of the Moon was pretty ok and only suffered because of being tied to the movie license/story. im no achievement whore and I finished it and had a decent time.
Cannot wait to see if they throw in a cool figure or some goodies in an CE for this!

Hopefully it's still somewhat relevant at that point tho since i would like to try out the MP too.

I agree that the lack of split screen or online co-op is almost criminal here. The first game was practically begging for it, and you need only look at Gears to see how much value a co-op campaign adds to these types of games.
I'm still fairly hyped for this release, and I know the competitive multiplayer will be a blast if it's anything like WFC, but leaving out co-op again makes me a bit less inclined to preorder (then again, I did make like $40 eBaying the preorder code that came with WFC...).

These designs make my nostalgia tingle. Reminds me of my epic battles between my Constucticons and my Voltron lions. Something about small robots combining to make big robots was total bliss for me.
I was very happy with War for Cybertron. I thought High Moon did a fantastic job. Very excited for this sequel!
Damn! WFC seemed to lack proper polish and balancing, but this game seems to solve that! Also, the latency got pretty bad some of the time...
the gaming press needs to ask them: "so, no online campaign co-op? doesn't that seem like a BAD idea, since it was such a great selling feature for the 1st game?"

GOW was a great opportunity for co-op and war for cybertron played a lot like GOW so yes i think it certainly could have benefited from its addition, however the fact that it played like GOW is probably why it ended up being a mediocre game.
this looks totally different, in fact this looks fucking awesome.
unfortunately no PC version means no buy for me, so i'm going to have to get off the hype train right now.
