TrackMania 2 Canyon multiplayer beta available next week

Starting next Wednesday, August 17, you can gain access to the multiplayer beta of TrackMania 2 Canyon by purchasing the game prior to its for-real launch. You might be thinking that's both surprisingly soon and a lot to ask for a mere beta, but Nadeo is only charging $24.99 here.

The map editor and mediatracker for video editing are included in this beta. And when the big day for the official release does come, you'll be upgraded to the latest version at no additional cost. Sounds worth doing to me. I never did get too deep into the prior TrackMania titles, but I feel strangely compelled to play this oddly named game.

Can't wait for the shocking plot twist involving the canyon.

As if we needed yet another video to show us that watching someone (something?) play TrackMania well is highly enjoyable for our eyeballs. These are fairly standard courses by TrackMania standards, but I'll take the opportun...
