Toys 'R' Us holding their annual buy two games, get one free deal photo

It’s that time again, folks! CheapAssGamer brings word that Toys ‘R’ Us is holding their annual buy two videogames, get one free sale. The sale starts this Sunday and will last until Saturday, October 18. Just go to your local Toys ‘R’ Us or their Web site and buy any two videogames to get the third game free.

The deal extends to bundle packages too, so you can buy Guitar Hero with the guitar along with two other games and get the cheapest of the three free. Even sweeter is the fact that you can buy the triple pack games that have been coming out recently for the PS2 as part of the deal (So if you pick up the Devil May Cry triple pack, the Tekken triple pack and the Dragon Ball Z triple pack, you can be walking out of Toys ‘R’ Us with nine games for only $60).

Toys ‘R’ Us will also have a special sale this Monday and Sunday where you can save 30% on any Wii accessory, including Wii Point cards. The only exceptions to this sale are the Wiimotes, Nunchuks and Zappers.

Unfortunately, the sale just misses the onslaught of triple A titles coming out in two weeks such as LittleBigPlanet, Fable II, Far Cry 2, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and much more. But hey, Dead Space and Saints Row II are is coming out during this sale!

There is no limit to how many games you can buy and for the full FAQ on this sale, check out CheapAssGamer.

LEAPSTER NOM NOM NOM

I actually don't know where a Toys R Us is in my neck of the middle of nowhere. The one where I thought was one turned out to be a Babies R Us. :( I shall investigate then!

@johannhat: According to the article, online orders count as well...just in case you can't find one nearby.

This looks like a great deal and an awesome way to pick up some games on the cheap!

I do enjoy Cheap Ass Gamer.

They help me buy things new, but at the same time save some money.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW

I used to have a Toys 'R' Us very close by until they went out of business. As much as I enjoy the "Don't Forget Batteries!" display rack and box of claim tickets I got for free when they went out of business, I would really like to have them back. They always had such hard to find games (Chocobo's Dungeon 2!) and great deals like this.

Will they even sell Dead Space or Saints Row 2 at Toys 'R' Us? I wasn't sure that they sold M rated titles.

The article said that you can buy 3 games and trade two in within 45 days of buying them(the two on the tab that you actually paid for, not the free one)... so you can technically get Saints Row, Fable 2, and LBP.... SOLD!

I would have been all over for this deal, if the TRU's in the greater Seattle area haven't gotten so crappy. Their video game catalogs are very paltry, overflowing with all that E-rated kiddie crap. Not to mention their prices are ridiculous, with games still at full-price even though prices have been dropped in every other places. I can only hope they have this deal online again.

Safe to assume you can't buy three of the same game (DeadSpace or something new) and get one free? Would be sweet to flip the pair of dupes for $40-50 each and get a copy for free.

I used to work at ToysRUs(just recently quit, thank goodness, the one in Rockville, MD, for those who live in Maryland), and you can buy any 2 games and get one free no matter what it is. So if you want you can spaz out on buying multiple games if you want.

TRU does sell M rated games but their shipments are usually like 4-8 copies for like a month, unless it's a shitty game like Madden.

The trick is you can always return the free game(granted the person at customer service rep is stupid, shallow or just non caring, and trust me I know this, I worked in the R-Zone) and get your money back or just another game. And if you do so, ask for a gift receipt individually, so you can just say it was a gift.

Yes, I've fucked the company over so many times when I worked there, and in more ways you can imagine.
