Toys'R'Us has Rayman Origins for $20 with free shipping photo

Toys"R"Us is selling all three versions of Rayman Origins for $19.99 each. Don't be a fool by denying yourself the opportunity to play one of 2011's most tragically unsupported games.

Hey you, Mr. Won't Pay Full Price For Platformers. You should seriously consider supporting the genre you claim to love while the opportunity to do so remains a possibility. The music of Origins alone is worth the price, to say nothing of the art style or game mechanics.

Is it bad that this game just doesn't appeal to me at all?

I feel like a jaded gamer. :(

Buy it! Honestly, one of the best looking video games I played all year. And it's 2D.

This was the single greatest game of 2011, hands down. Everyone here owes it to themselves to buy this, especially at such a fantastic price.

@ryan82

I'm actually with you. I love platformers -- it's actually my favorite genre -- but I actually didn't like the demo at all. I thought it was boring.

Four player couch co-op in this game is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in years. $20 is practically downloadable game money, so no excuses.

Also, this game is really good. Everyone should give it a go. It's beautiful and extremely well crafted. I'm not necessarily a big platformer guy, but I really enjoyed this game. And it's definitely worth 20 American dollars.

I have to imagine that four-player co-op with a little alcohol (or your substance of choice) would be the happiest moment ever experienced.

"Don't be a fool by denying yourself the opportunity to play one of 2011's most tragically unsupported games."

I get loving a game and all, but it was out for like.. A month.. amongst an already cluttered-by-amazing-games holiday season... And, for all intent and purpose, is a Rayman game (so it comes with a certain long standing stigma that some people don't give a damn about).

So calling it "tragically unsupported in 2011" based on all those reasons, seems a little over dramatic. Maybe if it came out in June or something, and people ignored it all summer and into the new year, but really...

Unfortunately, there's a significant amount of importance put on first-month sales. While it was ridiculous for them to release this game when they did, that doesn't change the fact that it sold poorly.

I guess I'm the only person who wasn't totally in love with this. Granted, there were other games *cough skyrimhalobattlefieldGOWRage cough* that were drawing my attention, but I just could not get into this.

Nothing wrong with it. It was fun-ish, I guess, and it looked great. But it didn't come off as anything more than a polished 2D platformer to me, which just wasn't enough, unfortunately.

Get this game, people. It's seriously a fun game and a breath of fresh air from all these shooters. Check out the soundtrack on youtube. "Gourmand Land ~ Land a Chef" is one of my favorite tracks.

Bought it for $30 a week ago and it's great.

Haven't played it multiplayer yet, but the single player is the perfect amount of difficulty. Not easy, not frustrating. And you only get dropped back to the last nearby checkpoint when you die (minimal loading).

Also, there's plenty of hidden stuff and lots of extra characters and whatnot to mix it up a bit.

Payed full price and worth every penny. I was turned off by the demo too but nostalgia won one day and I'm so glad it did. It gets so much better than the demo. One of the best platformers of the decade imo.

You know what else you're buying when you buy this? Support for "Beyond Good and Evil 2". So... for 20 dollars, you get this amazing game (Best Platformer of 2011, in this critic's opinion) and get to fund the sequel to one of the greatest games ever created.

Please, people, if you aren't going to even pay full price for this amazing game, at least give it 20 measly dollars.

and i'm not complaining, this is teh best game i've played in years.
though i understand teh hesitation to drop disc-game dough on a sidescroller, this is easily worth as much as uncharted 3 to me.
