Here comes the deal train, hop aboard if you're looking for a free game, an Xbox 360 controller or action figures.
Toys R' Us is holding a sale all week on every videogame in the store that costs $29.99 or more. If you buy three of said videogames you will get the fourth videogame for free. While this deal is nowhere near as sweet as their pre-holiday buy-two-get-one-free deal, it's still offering up a free game, and you should never look a gift horse in the mouth (bad breathe or something).
On top of this, Toys R' Us is also giving away a free controller with every 360 they sell. This would be a great deal except for the fact that I think most of us already own a 360, and the last person I know who needed one got it yesterday sans free controller. Well, if your 360 red ringed and you don't want to wait for repairs, and you don't want to spend less on an Arcade, and you didn't buy a in-store warranty on it then you can totally get a free controller.
You may also notice that you get a $10 gift card and Little Sister/Big Sister action figure with the purchase of BioShock 2 and a $20 gift card for Dante's Inferno. Gotta get in there between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Feb. 8 and be a member of their rewards program, though.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I didn't even touch the figure--the vibrations of ripping the package opened literally shook him to pieces.
Guess those ODST aren't really prepared for shock, now, are they?! OMGLOLZWTFKILLMEPLZ
Actually, that was McFarlane's doing. I don't know what happened, but all those ODST figures were completely botched. I bought two and BOTH broke. The Amazon.com reviews of it don't lie as well.
But as for the Little Sister/Big Sister package, get it! I picked one up yesterday actually at my local Toys R' Us (they retail for $19.99) and they're both great figures.
Also, I hope TRU is carrying the limited edition of Bioshock. Saving $20 will make me feel better about spending that much on it.
Samit is too busy playing his 360 to edit! CONFIRMED! ;D
