I love me some tower defense, but what would it be like to be on the offensive side? Newly announced Xbox Live Arcade release Anomaly Warzone Earth explores this angle. 11 bit studios announces today that their much-loved PC game is coming to the Xbox 360 in 2012. In it, you'll find a mix of action and strategy as you take on aliens that have set up camp in all the major cities of the world. You'll be the attacker in this game, marching in to take down their turrets and defenses.
I'm thrilled that Anomaly Warzone Earth is coming to XBLA. The PC version was a fantastic game, and you can be sure that this game's deep strategy will transfer over to XBLA nicely. Plus, new gamepad controls. The devs say that this version will also include new puzzle-like content called Tactical Trials.
No solid date is set for Anomaly Warzone Earth. Look for it in spring 2012.

17-Bit's turn-based Skulls of the Shogun is wonderful. Strategy players, simply put, need to grab it. And now that it's coming to Steam, I don't feel like I jerk for making such a strong recommendation. So long, Windows 8!

Not much is known right now about the game, other than the fact that it'll utilize free-to-play mechanics with "music and card battling" gameplay.
