This latest trailer for Tony Hawk: RIDE doesn't show a lick of gameplay, but at least it's both cute and informative.
Here I was this whole time thinking that the folks and Robomodo worked hard alongside skate-legend Tony Hawk to develop a skateboarding peripheral that would change how play these types of games forever. I pictured hours of pitch meetings, tireless iterations on concepts and designs. I pictured intense negotiations and number-crunching just to get the skateboard peripheral to a price relatively workable for the general public.
But all of that is just fantasy. Instead, what really happened is Activision made an actual skateboard screw an Xbox 360 controller. Shows how much I know about the games industry.
