Tormentum

Tormentum sure looks like a messed up adventure game

6:15 PM on 06.18.2014

It seems that both horror and adventure games are in rude health in 2014, so it's no surprise to see a game combine the two. The trailer above is for Tormentum, a new indie point-and-click game from developer OhNoo that has some frankly, nightmarish visuals. It's like H. R. Giger and all of the covers of your favorite metal albums had some freakish baby.

The three-man Polish team is looking to raise just $9,000 for Tormentum, which the team wants to complete before the end of 2014, as well as doing a full professional translation into English. I'm always keen to play more adventure games and that funding goal seems really achievable goal for the studio.

Batman: Arkham Knight has an M rating

The end of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, squeaked by with a PG-13, but it looks like Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy didn't have the same luck. Arkham Knight director Sefton Hill told IGN that the gam...more

Telltale's first original series is a TV show and videogame crossover

Review: Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore a Fedora

I’ve really been delving into the indie scene lately. There’s a huge amount of games coming from smaller development studios, and I’ve found a few that really impressed me. When I heard that a “crime n...more
