Straight up, I always thought that Meta Knight was one of the dumbest looking videogame characters ever created. It's like they tried to make a gray golf ball look bad ass by slapping some ill-fitting armor on it. At least the the pink blob known as Kirby is kind of cute, even though he kind of sucks on his own. Oh, Meta Knight is a piece of sh*t in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, too.
Now that I've got that out of the way, I will say that this Japanese Meta Knight papercraft (above) is pretty impressive. Obviously it's modeled after the Super Smash Bros. Brawl version of this somewhat obscure character. Even little details like the folds in his mask are worked in, and when I saw the finished version, I almost liked Meta Knight for a second. Almost.
Unfortunately, Kirby takes a back seat in this video. We do get to see him with a Pikachu hat on, though. Oh, wait -- is that R.O.B. being teabagged by Meta Knight? Don't make me call King Dedede.

Or perhaps I hate the way people play Meta Knight more than I do the character himself. The guy was built for cheese. If you're playing against someone that's a spamming little bitch, they are practically guaranteed to choose meta knight and just do that fucking tornado attack of his over and over and over. And then you end up punching them in the arm and screaming at them to stop being a cheap bitch and they cry and cry!

as for meta knight, i just cant get enough of his standard A attacks...he slashes like 50 times in an instant. somehow it makes the attempt at badass-izing a ball with boxing gloves and bat wings that much more hilarious
That is some well-made papercraft.
However, he's nowhere near as cool as he once was. I hate how Nintendo turns outright good villains (namely Meta Knight and Wolf O'Donnell) into heroic anti-heroes who are just rivals. Meta Knight was better when he was evil, dammit!

On the subject of Meta Knight in Brawl, he is so irritating to play against all one of my friends use is his B and >B so then I am forced to spam projectiles which then he starts to bitch...
Has Nintendo said anything about the release date for Kirby Super Star DS yet? Has it even been completely confirmed outside of Japan?
And no, no news on Kirby Super Star Deluxe for DS ever since its unveiling... but I'm hoping that'll change this E3.
