The guys that made Eternal Darkness are rigging the Unreal 3 engine for their upcoming Xbox 360 game - Too Human. I know, another 3rd person shooter, but the derivative game is at least pulling from good sources - and admits that up front. In a recent interview the developer talked about a Matrix-like storyline involving elements of Melee high-tech swordfighting (Onimusha), gunplay (Devil May Wimper), and Xbox Live support for tactical online multiplay (Diablo). I hate it when guys like this say vague shit like "RPG elements" and "non-linear gameplay" because often times they're like barely there. I wish they'd be more specific like "you can level your stats, but the characters are flat and forgettable". Anyway - the games 50% done and looks pretty amazing so far, so I hope they can pull off that ambitious gameplay.
