Tony Hawk's Proving Ground induces deja vu

10:40 AM on 05.12.2007

When the new issue of GamePro hits the stands on May 15th, it's guaranteed to contain more ProTips than you can shake a stick at (like, "Press start to pause the game," for example). It will also be the first time Activision's money printing machine, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will be a revealed.

The follow-up to last year's Project 8, this PlayStaton 3/Xbox 360 game is set to revolutionize the series. You know, with things like updated "Nail The Trick" modes and revamped multiplayer. Wait a minute ... don't we say this crap every year?

The game will also bring skater classes and a full-featured video editor to the table. Yay. In GamePro's cover story, Tony Hawk himself also talks about the new project ("It's going to make me a lot of money again!") and chimes in on what he thinks about his game's competition, EA's Skate.

It seems like only yesterday that I was playing the PlayStation demo for the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater like it was a full game, eagerly anticipating its release. How the mighty have fallen.

[Thanks, Wheeliedude!]

Durantula and giant floating heads take over this NBA 2K15 video

It's pretty neat that Kevin Durant was able to make this dunk look as effortless as he did. But, nobody's talking about poor Andre Iguodala, the Golden State guard that just got posterized. Actually, it's worse because it's ...more
