That's so funny. Just the other day I was saying that Tony Hawk was best with the first two titles.
The teased Tony Hawk game was revealed in a red carpet segment during the Spike VGA preshow. It is called Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, and it takes from the first two THPS titles to make a sort of best-of game. Of course, they'll also get a HD upgrade. Hawk says that this will be a digital release, and it will be priced under $20.

Fucking finally. Hopefully this sells well and they realize that the tony hawk games were better when they were simpler and actually had missions focused on, ya know, skateboarding. It'd bee cool if levels and tricks(specifically revert) from the other two THPS games were included, but this'll do.
THPS 22 is one of my favorite games of all time. I would buy this but I don't buy anything by Activision or EA. Too bad it's digital so I can't buy it used.
I was praying for the gaming gods to bring us THPS3HD, but 1 and 2 were pretty good. I've been aching for a good skateboarding game all this gen. EA's Skate just doesn't do it for me, and every Tony Hawk since 4 has been poop.
Sold. As a fan starting back on PS1, I would buy all of the games twice up to American Wasteland. The series lost me after Project 8. Hopefully this leads to the Tony Hawk series getting back to basics for a new game.
Only real opinion I have on this, so far as whether or not I'll buy it, is that if they're gonna cannibalize the first 2 games to remake them in HD, they better actually remake them in HD instead of it just being a rerelease(as much as I love some of the rereleases). Because since they're apparently going to take the time to tear to shreds(no pun intended) the game's content, they could at least polish the bits they piece back together.
Theres no way they still have rights to the songs. It'll probably be something like Crazy Taxi and they would have to get new songs...which scares the hell out of me since anything can be "punk."
can you do me a favor? anytime you make a post from your idevice, can you proof read? here's your typo/autocorrect sucky-ness:
"...and it takes from the first two THPS titles to make a soft of best-of game."
soft? you mean sort, right? dude this is no the only post from you guys that i've read without any proof reading. when you guys don't proof read your articles, it seems just so unprofessional.

Tony Hawk: "All right guys, if you didn't like my latest games then at least buy the old ones again. Please! I need money!"
Normally I love the idea of HD versions of old games, but that's what this seems like to me. Oh well, at least they're acknowledging that people actually liked those games.
I felt a little disappointed in THPS3's level design. It was like any rail you grind would send you on a predetermined line. It was also lacking the secret areas where as #2 had plenty.
Anyway, like Corduroy Turtle I got so burnt out the Tony Hawk formula and I just can't go back to it.

And I enjoyed everfy second of it!

#2 was good too, but I got it a long time after 3, so it's not a special one to me.
They didn't teach me shit about riding a skateboard though. I still faceplant every time I get on one.
I'll buy it.
NO REVERTS NO BUY
Still buying this :)
...And I'll DEFINITELY support it if it means THUG 1 and 2 get remixed as well.

Get over it dude, it obviously happens. I proof read my shit and stuff still gets through.
