Just so you know Jim, I was in the same boat back then. I played that demo so many damn times. That and Einhander (which I did eventually buy and LOVE).
So sign me up for Tomba!
Also, fucking expensive if you try to buy them. I used to have a copy of Tomba 2, and much like my pristine ass copy of Team Buddies, I wish I had held onto them.
Sidenote, make Team Buddies happen, Jim. For the greater good, dammit.
Also, I know it's highly unlikely, but I want Tomba in Playstation All Stars!
APPARENTLY... selling poorly, Whoopee Camp had to split. Most of the people went to Access Games, you know... THE PEOPLE WHO MADE DEADLY PREMONITION. SWERY was one of many designers for Tombi 2 as well. BWAHHHHH
My brother had both Tomba 1 and 2 and I think he sold them to Eb games for like $3.....sad days being a kid
Been wanting to play it for ages but it costs about a million pounds on ebay and I think I read that it doesn't work on the PS2 anyway.
This is good news!
Wait a second. No news on a Europe release!?
I'm not sure if you're a troll or just stupid.
If you are a troll: get out
If you're just stupid: look up "sarcasm"
Anyways, I'm probably gonna get this, sounds good.
also Thank God for Jim Motherfucking Sterling!!! :D
Why and how are you being so disrespectful to Sir Mr Kaz Hirai? THIS is the real front cover art to Tombi!
In the meantime, we are both jizzing in each other's hair in anticipation.
Despite the fact I don't buy much on PSN, I'll probably get this just to support Tomba. I actually wrote a review of it once, for a school paper. Man that makes me feel old.
Even if they release 2 on PSN as well, would the T1 save data quests in 2 even work?
I would imagine so. The PS3 essentially makes a PS1 memory card for game data storage. Does anyone know if the Psycho Mantis "You like Castlevania, don't you?" trick still works with MGS? That would be a good indicator.
