Awesome. Does anyone know if it works well on the psp? The last ps1 title I downloaded became unplayable because there weren't buttons available for the strafing.
I don't get why the game is marked as an import though, Tomba was released here in Europe too, It was just renamed "Tombi".
Maybe it's for the sake of recognition?

I found it on ps3 store but looks like its not yet downloadable to the vita, content manager method doesn't work either.
Everytime I see Toomba is available, I think AWESOME.

It's because they want this to run at 60HZ and not 50HZ so you get smooth video playback.

just got it, the music is at like half tempo compared to the original. completely destroys the atmosphere of the game, i'd recommend getting it on emulator instead
I think a lot of people are gonna be disappointed. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, but it's one for the connoisseurs/games are art crowd... Compared to games most people have been playing for years it's sub-par in all honesty in some important ways, but when going in you have to keep in mind that this game had buckets of clever ideas *years* before that stuff started appearing elsewhere, and it was ahead of it's time. And even to this day it's hard to find a game with as much assurance of character and pure charm... But that won't be enough for a lot of people and I can hear the cries of 'so THIS is what the fuss was about' right now.
