Tokyo Jungle goes grid-based in new mobile game

5:00 PM on 07.10.2013

It's not the same as a full-fledged sequel or a proper mobile port of Tokyo Jungle for PlayStation Vita, but heck, we can't be too picky. The fact that Tokyo Jungle Mobile even exists -- that this has become more than a one-off property -- is a bit of a shock to me. The game is now available as a $2.99 download for PlayStation Mobile devices.

The spirit of Tokyo Jungle is firmly upheld in this release, even if its gameplay has become grid-based and seemingly more simplistic in the transition to mobile. I'm going to wind up downloading this at some point, I just know it.
