We were pretty bummed last year to hear that Microsoft were passing on two of the world's biggest videogame trade shows: Europe's gamescom and Japan's Tokyo Game Show. But they turned that around, thankfully.

Microsoft confirmed that they'd be at next month's gamescom in a big way earlier, and we heard they would probably show up at TGS. Looking at the newly released exhibitor list for Tokyo's September event we see them listed, presumably to show off their Xbox One. That's nice to see. TGS isn't the same without their crazy show floor booth.

Now we're back to normal with all major players there except Nintendo. Sony, Capcom, EA, Sega, Square Enix, Konami, Namco Bandai, Tecmo Koei, Bethesda, and many others will be showing off their next-gen wares this September. I don't see Atlus on the list yet, though.

Last year was one of the biggest shows in TGS history, and 171 exhibitors attended that one. TGS says that this year's number is already at 186, with more expected to join in soon. A press release says that they expect over 200,000 visitors to attend this year. We'll be among them, bringing you all of the craziness.

Fable Legends is headed to PC with DirectX 12 and cross-platform play with Xbox One, which is nice and all, but did you see Phil's shirt? That's Battletoads alright. The time is now.more

Hah, wow: Microsoft drops Xbox One back to $349

Microsoft sold the Xbox One for $349.99 during the holiday season, which worked out well for sales. The system became "the best-selling console in the U.S. in November and December," according to the company. But that wasn't ...more

[Extremely Homer voice] The Simpsons are going to Minecraft!

Sure, you could make eye contact with these official Minecraft renditions of the Simpsons, but I wouldn't recommend it. They're joining 19 other Springfield residents in a $1.99 DLC pack toward the end of February on Xbox One and Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow. Reached for comment, Minecraft owner Microsoft had this to say:more
