Today's Amazon Gold Box deals are gaming bargains photo

Amazon's daily assortment of time-sensitive bargains goes with videogames today. For starters, the Deal of the Day is for Shaun White Snowboarding on every available platform. The PS3, PSP, Wii and PC versions are going for $30, while the 360 version is just a smidge under $18.

Of course, being that the videogame department of Amazon is getting the Gold Box treatment, there are "Lightning Deals" running throughout the day as well with little clues to help you guess what will be on the cheap. After a bit of casual deduction I suspect we'll be seeing Guitar Hero World Tour for PS2, Fallout 3 for PS3 and a Dynasty Warriors title on 360 (likely Samurai Warriors 2) among others.

The full list of Lightning Deal clues is after the jump. Can you guess them all?

(All times listed are Pacific Daylight Savings)

  • 6:00 am - Dynasties and Samurai for Xbox 360.
  • 10:00 am - Even more songs for your Wii.
  • 11:00 am - Axe > Lance > Sword for Nintendo DS.
  • 1:00 pm - Take triviality on the road with your PSP.
  • 3:00 pm - Get your PlayStation 3 out of Vault 101.
  • 5:00 pm - Get into the zone with your PlayStation 3.
  • 6:00 pm - Go on tour with your PlayStation 2.

11 is one of the Fire Emlem DS games (I don't remember how many there are either). 5 is probably Killzone 2, and 6 sounds like GH: World Tour.

Why does Amazon have to be so damn cryptic?! Now I'll never know what games they have on sale!

SilverChaos and CapnCrunk: there is only one installment of Fire Emblem on the DS currently and it's Shadow Dragon, the remake of the first Fire Emblem on the NES.

I'd like for Killzone 2 to be the lightning deal, but I'm not so sure that's it. It's too new, and isn't being "in the zone" a sports term also?
