It turns out that Toad (of Super Mario Bros) is gay. That's news to me. I always figured with his gruff voice and his Aladdin-style shirtless vest look that he'd be straight. A ladies man, even. He rolls with the hottest girl in the land. Hello.
That's not what ScrewAttack thinks, though. Apparently Toad moisturizes and does ballet. I wouldn't label either choice particularly gay, but it may be that ScrewAttack's gaydar is more sensitive than mine. "Fungay." I see what you guys did there.

I don't see how Toad could be gay or straight. All Toads look pretty much exactly the same. The only way you can tell that Toadette is a girl is because of her clothes. Then again, maybe they are all gay, and Toadette is just another Toad in drag.
Why are we questioning the sexuality of a Mario character? I raelly don't think Shigeru Miyamoto had that in mind when he designed Toad. Or anyone, for that matter.
...except Birdo. I still don't understand if Birdo is a guy or girl or if it's just a huge localization mistake.
That OOTW, Masao's art is truly excellent; I mean, it's so weird, yet so well-drawn, and perfectly on-note for being off-key. "brentalfloss" struck me familiar, from YouTube... What did I see by that guy(s)?

I figured it was pretty much like Smurfs. But clearly "Toad" from the Super Show and the new age "toad" from from N64 and up are two different guys. Toad is pimpin', the toads are whiney guys that roll the obscure way.
