Have you guys seen much of HAZE yet? Does Timesplitters 4 use the same engine as HAZE?
I never really got into Timesplitters, although it looked like a cool GoldenEye or Perfect Dark style of FPS (aka, no jumping b/c massive planet's gravity is massive).
The video was great, so good on Free Radical! The marketing focus Halo 3 really needs to be brought to task for presenting an experience that was not representative of the actual story in the game.

Timesplitters 2 was my FPS of choice back when I had a GameCube. That shit was fun, intense, and rich with options and humor. I skipped 3 just 'cause I never heard very good things, but I am definitely excited. Glad to see they didn't give up on this franchise.
Niiiice. I wanted Haze but have no PS3, TimeSplitters always went multiplatform, this one better too.
I wonder if it will be as stupidly hard as the others where on the higher difficulties.
Hopefully they can balance difficult without adding cheap to that mix.

Timesplitters 2 is my favorite FPS of all time. I didn't get into 3 much, but it wasn't bad either.
I only want ONE thing for the next Timesplitters (aside from all the requisite awesomeness of its predecessors): THE ABILITY TO JUMP!
I'm not joking when I say that the game will sell A LOT more copies if your character can jump. Even if it's a realistic jump that doesn't go very high, the ability to jump is essential.
The Timesplitters games have always divided the public. Some think it's the most fun EVAR and everyone else is annoyed by the fact that they can't jump. Seriously, of the dozen or so people that actively "dislike" the series, that one omission is far and away the MAIN complaint.

3 was awesome, by far the best ps2 fps game (second place going to 2) so hopefully thisll be great too.
Hahah, awesome. Timesplitters has always been my favorite console twitch shooter. I hope this doesn't disappoint.
I've been a big fan of Free Radical since forever. :D My only problem with them has been their focus on consoles from the start, though Second Sight saw a (StarForce'd) PC port.

this is why i love time splitters so much. its kinda like a mel brooks video game. the humor is fantastic but the game play is ... uh fantastic. this will be harder to wait for than time splitters 2

This will probably be quite awesome, I played so many hours of TimeSplitters 2 & 3.
