Steam GreenlightTime to vote! Next Steam Greenlight batch incoming photo

Valve is announcing the next set of approved Steam Greenlight games and software on April 17. I'm not entirely sure if that leaves us enough time for current votes to make the cut, but thinking that we're still okay doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation to have. Either way, consider this your reminder to get back in the trenches and vote.

In no particular order (and far from a complete list), I'd like to see Shovel Knight, Planet Explorers, Gunman Clive, Chasm, Legend of Dungeon, TowerClimb, Stardew Valley, Escape Goat, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, Darkwood and Immortal Defense get greenlit.

What games are you hoping make the cut? As it stands, the process of finding interesting ones to vote on is not ideal and it can get a bit messy at times. I shudder to think about how many of the projects I would support are wholly unknown to me.

La-Mulana 2 aims to be more 'intuitive,' still hard as heck

Open world platformer/space shooter A.N.N.E is a retro buffet

Really, why even play clearly deficient retro games? I mean, where are the shmup segments in Metroid? Where are the open world segments in Contra? Where are the line segments in a bisected triangle? A.N.N.E. is one part platformer, one part shmup, one part RPG. And this year at PAX A.N.N.E. has all its systems in play. Maybe we'll all get to play it this year.more

Boy, The Hong Kong Massacre sure looks like Hotline Miami

Hotline Miami by way of Stranglehold or any other John Woo flick, at least. Which is appropriate for the setting. Though I'm also reminded of Michael Mann's Miami Vice movie for some reason. I guess it can't exactly be Hotli...more
