We already got word that Robin would be made available at Best Buy as a pre-order incentive for Batman: Arkham City. Now Warner Bros. has confirmed it, along with an image and some fresh details.
Robin -- the Tim Drake version -- will be a playable character in the challenge mode of the upcoming game. Warner says that he'll come with his own special gadgets and moves, playable on all challenge maps, as well as two new ones included with the character: Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape. You'll also get a bonus "Red Robin" character skin to boot.
While this is available exclusively at Best Buy, it's likely it'll be made available for purchase somewhere down the line. Warner's wording on this announcement is that the pack is "currently available exclusively to North American fans who pre-order the game from Best Buy." So you know, if you want to pony up some cash later, I'm sure the publisher will be open to that.
What do you think of Robin's look? Worth a pre-order?

Does anyone know if Best Buy does free release date delivery?

I'm not really expecting much after seeing how bad Catwoman looked. Hopefully Robin is cooler.
Aw, and here I was hoping to be able to create custom Robins for the game. Playing a darker, grittier pre-determined Boy Wonder (one who had already left the 'mantle' behind in the comics, at that)feels like a waste of time. There had better be other pre-order Robin offers than that.
however... why is is head shaved?
I'm pretty sure Best Buy doesn't :(
And as for your Chris O'Donnel Robin comment, I'll be serious with you, looking at Drake there close enough, he actually has that look sans nippies.
@Jonathan Holmes
I agree and I'll raise you a "He looks too old for Tim Drake" but I also guess that'll depend on how tall he'll be in these challenge packs, its weird how height=age in this case.
Personally I'd like to see Damion Wayne, He might be far far outside the cannon of AA and AC but given that Robin's only going to be used in Challenge maps I don't see why that would matter at all. Drake isn't a bad alternative though I guess, hardly the worst Robin ever.
Make profit on USA
Forget about the rest of the world.
Why do they need to redesign the shit out of everyone for this game? Does making Robin bald somehow make him grittier?
Stephanie Brown was also a cool Robin because she was spunky.
Still not pre oredering though.
@Shinta You do realize that's EXACTLY how Catwoman looks in the current comic books right? Any self-respecting Batman fan would know that.
Robin's inclusion is just as bad as the "Joker" DLC for the PS3 version
Now if this was Jason Todd, the doucheyness would suit him.
I mean, lolwut.
Oh, come on! That can't count, he's not even trying!
