Tidus takes on Jecht in this new Dissidia video

     PSP

I'm nearly done with Crisis Core, so I'm just about ready for more Square Enix on the PSP. Squeenix seems more than happy to oblige, with Dissidia: Final Fantasy gathering steam and looking absolutely gorgeous in the process.

In this video, Tidus and Jecht from Final Fantasy X duke it out. FF X was not the most popular game in the core franchise, but it certainly had its moments and Jecht was responsible for one of them. Both he and Tidus are looking good in this game, which is the very definition of fan service.

Great stuff, and I can't wait. But more Kuja please!

Even I have to admit that's pretty damn awesome. Can't wait to see what other matchups are in this game.

It's definitely pretty, but it's a bit of a sausagefest and in dire need of [more] female fighters. Tifa, anyone?

Cool looking, but there's a total glaring omission of FFIV/VI characters with only Golbez and Kefka.

And I don't ever remember them spending that much time in the air in FFX

It would be a really nice touch if all of the Limit Break attacks are styled off of the game's they are from.

I just hope they add a few characters from their older games (midget) Musashi anyone?

This is looking pretty sweet, I have to say, even for non fanboys like myself.

Wont the gameplay be a little one sided with a whole army of spiky haired emo kids with large swords, though?

@ Mirax;

Seriously? Square will release this in America and Europe. Otherwise the earth will be destroyed in a natural disaster.

The thing I'm most surprised by here is the music. Very rawk. :O)
