Thrustmaster amplifies WiiFit with the T-Fitness Pro Pack

Today, Thrustmaster (real company name) announced a new line of fitness accessories for Nintendo’s amazing title, WiiFit. The accessories are being sold in two different sets dubbed T-Fitness Pro Pack NW and T-Fitness Pack NW to make sure that consumers are thoroughly clueless as to what they are buying just like when they purchased a Wii instead of an Xbox 360.

The Pro Pack ($49.99) offers two pockets for Balance Board and accessory storage, a floor mat, ankle dumbbells, headband, cloth, rechargeable battery, and a neck strap for MP3 players. The normal T-Fitness Pack ($29.99) comes with all of the above except the floor mat and weights.

The second WiiFit came out I quit going to the gym. What’s the point of running on a treadmill, lifting weights, or enjoying physical activity when you can do it at home with a floor mat, batteries, a Wii, and some ankle weights? Plus, there's nothing that gets the adrenaline flowing and calories burning like virtual hula hoops.

Both Thrustmaster’s offerings are now available at the majority of online retailers.

Shame on you, having to explain that Thrustmaster is a real company - they used to make the best flight sim sticks in the business back in the day.

I mean, what do they teach kids in school these days?

@ Capn Birdseye: Wait a second, it's the same Thrustmaster that used to make those awesome flight sticks? Why are they slumming it with this crap?

Jesus! You kids need to learn some things if you want to earn that "gamer" title. Thrustmaster has been around for quite a while. They made some of the best flight simulator joysticks in the business, including a two-piece set (for about $200) that were directly modeled from an F-16's controls.

To those who bash the Wii Fit, I've been working out to it, trying to get 1/2 hour in every two days. So far I've lost 5 pounds, my arms have gained strength (from the push up strength training), and my leg muscles have gotten stronger. (Still need to work on balance.) If you think you're so fit, try the Super Hula Hoops. You'll be sweating afterwards if you're not in shape. I should know.

After my first 1/2 hour session (mostly yoga and strength training), I couldn't walk properly for about three days because I beat the shit out of my calf muscles. God, that was f**king painful...!

Seriously, if you can find it ... get it!

All the above may be true John B., but their name is still Thrustmaster.

I lost 50 pounds with Thrustmaster's new products! Now I feel great, I've had sex 20 times in a day, and I'm in a Rock band! Thanks thrustmaster!

Useless factoid: Thrustmaster used to make (arguably) the best and most realistic F-16 flight yoke/throttle/rudder pedal controller for the PC. Many of you may not remember it, probably because that was about 13 years ago.

@cryocide

I remember playing games like Comanche 3 and that F22 Sim with my Thrustmaster. Good times..

I also remember playing NHL 98 with my Gravis Gamepad Pro..

So yeah, that was a long time ago. :)
