Three more games added to 'XBLA Hits' line-up photo

Let's start with the good news first: three Xbox LIVE Arcade games have been added to the "Hits" program, which means they are going to be dropped from $10 a piece down to $5 starting this Wednesday when the pricing goes into effect. The bad news?

They're all sort of games no one is going to be thrilled about. Brain Challenge, 3D Ultra Minigolf, and Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting ... yeah. Now I could see someone arguing otherwise for that last one, but really, with HD Remix out on the Marketplace, the game loses significance.

On the flip side, all three XBLA games must have sold well, otherwise they wouldn't have become "Hits." Tell me, are any of you thinking of getting one (or more) once they go down in price?

Damn, when was the last time ANY game was on the "Hits" list?

None for me.

These all agree with the age old marketing technique of not reducing prices on things that are actually selling.

Trouble is, since they were good games, I already bought the last two.

Well I'm glad to see that prices will eventually come down on good arcade titles.

I would get SFII but the thing is if I don't pick the most elite SF game AND master it I'll have about 20 friends and friends of friends kicking my ass for real.

I'll save myself the Friday Night Fangasms and just stick with DOA. The fighting game for people who wish they were good enough for good fighting games.

I would rather see Wits and Wagers for $5 than these three losers

I usually ask girls if they want to play Brain Challenge on the second date.
