Didn't the UFC announce that they would renounce any wrestlers that appeared in EA MMA from the league?
@BenelliM4 He probably signed with EA before his contract was picked up by the UFC, much like what happened with Randy Couture. Dana's tirade on the fighters who signed with EA affect those who were already with the UFC when EA approached them.

UFC 2009 was pretty good but I'm lucky I didn't buy it and played for a couple hours at a friends house. I played the demo a lot and then was excited for the game, but the more I played, the more I found I didn't like it. It felt too...mechanical. The ground game was OK but the animations never changed and nothing was dynamic about it. Also, the controls were spotty and submission system was dumb. I hope EA MMA is good and sort of combines the UFC type game play with the dynamic-ness of Fight Night.

The Big Bear joke isn't really funny if you heard of the place. It's actually a well known training ground for many MMA fighters and boxers.
As for the announcement itself, I am surprised by The Janitor since he is in the UFC. Pretty awesome though because he is pretty good. I hope they announce more DREAM fighters into the roster. The last DREAM event was awesome.

I couldn't care less which fighters are in which, I want to know about the controls and the combat, that's all i need to know about any MMA game.

@Chronic actually Randy Couture has never fought in Pride, except for a brief passage through Rings in his early career, he fought for the UFC his whole career.

Actually, it's been announced that Fedor's fighting in June, now. So, only a SEVEN month layoff for the world's best heavyweight due to the renegotiation of his contract just one fight into it. Yay, M-1 Global!

Randy is in the game because the UFC does not own his image (which they do of all their fighters now).
It doesn't really matter anyway, because beyond Fedor, this game will only feature relative MMA nobodies compared to the names of the UFC.

LOL at the guy who thought MMA fighters only practice one thing. People like fedor are considered to be not a expert in any single fighting style but a brown belt in all of them. Thats one of the reasons he is so dominating he can handle any situation. Also if Fedor ever fought in the UFC he would get destroyed eventually, the HW division is really becoming more and more stacked.

True, but it's not called EA MMA 2010, so I doubt they will re-release it each year. It'll be more like FNR series, rather than Madden, or NFL.
Hopefully if their smart they wont release it each year I hate that shit. To be honest I am no fanboy I will check both games out I am sure their will be benifits to both of them. I am just happy that MMA in general is becoming a main stream sport.I just like UFC undisputed cause I have played it and I had alot of fun with it except for the online whice I always semmed to play one match online and then I couldnt get into another match it always said it couldnt find anyone how gay.
