This IS a surprise, THQ hadn't exactly been doing really well leading up to Saint's Row the Third, and even after that while it was great I don't think it was great enough to absolve all their financial issues away. I wasn't expecting anything this cool out of THQ yet.
Please please dont make you effing register in game to play the game even though your already running it through steam.

While I'm not unhappy, I do wish Relic would do another series. Dawn of War and Company of Heroes are awesome, but the numerous expansions have just tired me out. I want to see them do something new!
@Themaud I feel your pain, I had to rebuy COH and can't even access that anymore. It's a horrible system.
I hope for this game they remove the bright faction colour on your vehicles, it's really distracting to see your Shermans all painted bright blue.

Oooooor Homeworld 3!
I know, I know, something new but that particular milestone in gaming history has no reason to just vanish into obscurity with the rest of the fluff. Especially while games like Call of Duty trudge annoyingly onward and somehow stay relevant. There's certainly enough interest in 4x space games these days to warrant a return to the series that started it all.
Damnit.
Plus, I'm sure Yes could use the work.

This is an interesting play on their part, going to back to a PC franchise that has a bit of a following but hasn't gotten much attention. Considering their troubled financial situation, I hope they resist the temptation to to lard it up with microtransations, but at least the development costs shouldn't be unmanageable.

Well, Relic has switched to Steamworks in their newer games. So it shouldn't be much of a problem anymore. I personally have had no issue with Relics Online system in the original company of heroes, but can more than understand what people are going through. Had the same issue multiple times in EA games.
My most looked forward to game at the moment. I just really hope they don't swing too far in the Dawn of War 2 direction and make the battles small. I just love me some Company of Heroes.
