We have been graciously alerted to the new line of K'NEX Mario Kart Wii toys by reader Drinkyjim. Basically, they are the best gaming-related use of K'NEX since that dastardly contraption someone built to shake their Pokewalker.
We had previously covered this partnership, but didn't have any details other than "it's happening." Well, it's happened. I'm not sure when it did, exactly, but the K'NEX website says these toys are all new, so I'm willing to believe them.
Be sure to get a look at the race track they're teasing on the left. It's really cool. And man, these plastic, multi-colored sticks sure have made great strides in recent years.

OPEN QUESTION TO EVERYONE: Which construction toys are harder to break apart, LEGO or K'NEX?
Yeah, too much K'nex these days is just Lego bricks, though they tend to have a lot of holes in the bricks to fix it around the sticks and connectors so if you want a more solid platform when you're building a 4ft oil rig then its excellent. This is the first time I've seen a set that seems to be almost all bricks.
