I wish they were unlockable... All I want is The Animated Series, and maybe Batman Beyond, and year one, and Dark Knight Returns, aw fuck, all except the Lantern one look good. I'll pass, though.

The reason why shitty DLC like this exists is because idiots keep buying it. This should just be unlockable in the game. They obviously had it finished before releasing the game (since they were pre-order bonuses), so why not just include it in the damn game? I'm happy I decided not to buy this game. With all the shitty DLC and the online pass, it's not worth it. I might buy it when I can get it for $10, but I'm still not buying this extra bullshit.
Also, Southpark hasn't been funny in years. The last few seasons were complete shit. Anything that's good has to end eventually, or else it turns out like the Simpsons. Southpark is just about there.
Too bad you can only use it for New Game Plus and Challenge Maps. I would have LOVED it to play the normal story mode with these skins on.

All the DLC so far is garbage. Overpriced, cosmetic, and with no substance in the actual game. How about something with an actual *gasp* storyline or something? I'd kill for more Catwoman missions - and I mean story-related missions, not stupid "challenge" maps.

The DEFCON system works the other way, the more serious the situation the lower the number gets. It counts down from 5. If you're going to troll do it right.
Also anyone who thinks that any episode of Robot Chicken has ever been better than any episode of South Park was either conceived from a weak sperm or is Seth Green.

I don't mind DLC, as long as it offers a reasonable value for the price.
I miss the days of EXPANSION PACKS on PC. They would cost $20-$30, but offer a big chunk of new content and storyline. A $20 DLC that added a nice separate campaign for Catwoman or another character, for example, is something I'd totally go for. Say something set a few weeks before or after the events in the base game that added some backstory maybe.
Instead we get overpriced superhero tights.

@Wakatashi: To stay in topic (I don't have cable TV either. Or a tv for that matter :D) while it depends on the game, I'd do what is necessary to get that unlockable. It might be only a skirt, but it's a nice excuse for replaying. You enjoy your game all over again, and get a bit of a reward for putting the extra effort and hours.

Where the hell is the Long Halloween Batman? That was the one I wanted & it isn't included in the dlc. The hell?
$5 for a few simplistic character retextures that add nothing to the game. Sure, that's not ridiculous at all. No thanks.
I got the Batman Beyond skin from a kind GFAQs user. I pre-ordered the game and was disappointed not to receive any skins. Despite my being against this, it is better that people have a way to buy it that prevents people selling the skin codes on ebay for ridiculous prices. People are paying for it and I'd rather they were ripped off less.

I know it's nit-picky but theres two things I don't like in the Arkham series, Batman has color in his eyes (the white eyes look way more itimidating IMO) and he walks like he has a stick up his ass (kinda like the male human model in World of Warcraft).
1970's batman (my favorite) takes care of the first problem but can't be played from the start... Maybe the next installment will fix the walking animation.

South park actually started really bad. Seasons 1-3 are garbage. 4 and 5 is when it started to get good with a few classclassic episodes airing in those seasons. 6-10 is sp at its best. 6 being the best. 11-14 have been good but not great with a few bad episodes in each season.

I love Batman, and I love Arkham City, but there's no way in the name of sweet holy mother fuckin monkey hell I'm paying money to give Batman a new paint job.

They have managed to take what once was a cool bonus that was hidden in games, that won them some points as a developer and turned it instead into a standard substandard business practice.
Instead of "wow they really went the extra mile" we get instead "well they added some flair but that'll cost you extra".... one of those two statements would probably see me as a returning customer, the other not, any guesses as to which is which?

Bleh, skins. I agree with people that say they should've been unlockables, but being able to play dress up with Batman isn't a deal-breaker for me. Same deal with the challenge rooms - yes they should've been on the disc as they're not expansions or new missions, just additional content - but like I said, it hardly wrecks the entire experience. It's not as if they've locked out certain missions or anything. I've loved playing Arkham city, I've completed the game and I'm still trying to get all of the Riddler trophies and then on to the new game +.
