There was a skatebaord company called Blockhead back in the day, and they had a sticker/t-shirt whatever where one guy said

"nothing"
And its still true to this day. What one perceives as cool, someone somewhere is already sick of it. Its the nature of people. (mostly,internet people, but nonetheless) And comparing zombies to vampires or Santa claus is pretty much asking for it. Nothing in video games is real, yet we play them. LIfe goes on.

I still like zombies. I don't much care for the "let's cram some zombies in an unrelated shooter" trend, but I'm going to love the shit out of some Dead Rising 2.

What's it like, naively considering your opinion fact, and being so serious about video games? Seems like it must be awesome. Then again, you'll probably go from saying, "Zombies are not original", and then go play your Modern Shooter 9999.
But in all reality, the only true video games we have with zombies are like what, Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising?

Like, fluid FPS controls with aiming down the sights, and having to save civilians and find supplies to survive in a metropolis riddled with walking and running husks of the formerly living.

Definitely looking forward to this pack. This is something I've hoped they would do ever since GTA 3.
Not just zombies, really, but using these big, already planned out and well tread worlds and adding some freak element to it that rides opposite to the way you've been playing. What if San Andreas was over run by zombies? Where would the safe houses be? Can you make a survival game out of it?
I think this could be a proof of concept for something special.
Now if only there was a Far Cry 2 for zombie games...

Is this going to actually affect the single player experience? Or is it just another multiplayer add-on or simply "putting zombies in the single player game" and having them running around to kill
i think developers need to lay off the whole zombie thing for a while or at least come out with a new GOOD zombie game..
Regarding the traditional, boring approach to zombies, I'm surprised that people are still interested. You know what wouldn't suck? If Rockstar made a game based on The Crow.
Zombies might not be cool anymore, but Red Dead Redemption has more cool than zombies lack. The absolute value of the coolness of Red Dead Redemption is higher than the absolute value of the coolness of zombies.

also i think rockstar needs to do a shadowrun type open world game. or for the next GTA something in the future. doesnt HAVE to be GTA though. but i want a super future open world game damnit.

I liked zombies well before zombies were cool and played out.
I also liked Nightmare Before Xmas, then didn't like it before the emo crowd ran with it.
I like cupcakes now so they will be the next hit, mark my word!
