Still, those are some nice, clean high-res graphics there.
It will be interesting to see how the controls are on PS3/360
I'm glad they didn't dump the cel-shaded look, though I could've sworn Travis' sunglasses were more translucent in the first game. Then again, it's been a while since I've played...
@ Screens - Definitely day one purchase for me. I wanted the original on Wii but now that this is coming out I'll just get this one!
B) NMH is a nice game... but not THAT nice. Play it for the second time and you will see that the gameplay is kinda boring.... its even hard to finish the second playthrough
C) This better sell at least 4x the Wii version. Unless everybody is ready to admit that Wii Games dont sell because industry simple dosent make great games for it. (aside from Nintendo)
I will probably pick it up, or at least rent it or something.
I have 0 interest though I actually thought it was a pretty boring game, style over substance. Like most of Suda's games.
Also, it is a verrrrrrrry smart move to not show any of the overworld.
And, personally, I think the motion controls will be missed quite a bit. Why? I felt that they added a layer of immersion to the combat and side jobs in a unique way than I think most will explain.
The swinging mechanics got your adrenaline and physical heart rate going, and I often felt like I had done a couple of rounds of Wii Sports Boxing after the more tense boss fights. It makes you "feel" like Travis because you're as "tired" as he is.
As for the side jobs, I reeeeeeallllllllllly liked the lawn-mowing controls (and the job itself). It uses the motion sensing tech in a subtle way that allowed me to cool down after a fight. It was a necessary breather that was still preparing me for the next battle since I had to make that scratch and pay my dues.
The scorpion side job can go eat a dick and die, though. AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.
I hope we hear some comfirmation that this game will come stated side.
I know that sounds like horrible nitpicking but I hope there's at least an option for just a 'high res' mode rather the standard 'bump map the fuck out of this' version. Part of the style was the whole 'ink' like look.

It's cool to see this, but I'm not sure I'd pay to play it again. If I could get hi-def videos of some of the cutscenes that would be enough for me.
Also, I can't imagine NMH without motion control.
That'd be like 2 million copies, you realize.
NMH sold damn well for a suda51 game.
Anyway, buyer beware. This game was the killer app for motion controls. Well, this and RE4Wii.
I guess I'm a sucker for updates to older games now, first God of War Collection, now this.
However I feel much less bad about wanting this so much.
This has no NA date, and most likely will not get one, as it's Ubisoft's decision.
And yeah, NMH1 sold well over 300,000 copies since it came out. Problem is, Marvelous entertainment saw very little of those sales, because it was the publisher of the Japanese version, which no one bought.
The solution? Port this game no one in Japan knows about, on two expensive HD consoles that no one buys games for, unless your name is Square Enix.
Fucking brilliant.
