This weekend on Twitch TV: Tales from Retro City

4:45 PM on 02.24.2012 // Bill Zoeker

As the weekends grow on Destructoid's Twitch TV channel, we continue to bring the thunder with every hour of programming. It starts today with Mash Tactics' "Community Collaboration Friday" with the caster so good Twitch TV hired him, Dan of Dan's Gaming. Jonathan Holmes is starting out Sunday right by picking the brain of Brian Provinciano, the man behind the eagerly awaited Retro City Rampage, on Sup Holmes. Following that is 321Go Cast with long-time Dtoider Chris Healy.

In between all the chit-chat, we've got oodles of wholesome gaming goodness. Awdamn is shooting from the hip with BioShock and Borderlands. Philanthr0py is digging deeper into the mystery of the mansion in Resident Evil. And Rad Show is getting physical with Kinect game tomfoolery.

It's "Commnity Collaboration Friday" on Mash Tactics, on which King Foom sits down and raps with broadcasters from around Twitch TV. This week's guest is Dan from Dan's Gaming, a popular figure in the gaming stream community, who even ascended to the ranks of Twitch TV admin.

Substituted Reality is Destructoid's only PC exclusive gaming show, hosted by lovably offbeat caster Awdamn and airing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8p.m. Pacific. Awdamn is kicking of the weekend with BioShock tonight. Saturday night is a journey to planet Pandora in Borderlands. Sunday night, Awdamn is closing out the weekend with a little Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Saturday Morning Hangover with Conrad Zimmerman and Jordan Devore airs from 10a.m. to 12p.m. PST. Come watch as they play the latest Xbox Live Indie Games demos for your enjoyment, and revel in the beauty of Conrad's mustache!

Chill with Phil airs this and every Saturday at 4p.m. PST. Host Philanthr0py is continuing his full series playthrough of the Resident Evil franchise. Tune in and watch Phil awkwardly maneuver through Spencer Mansion in Resident Evil: Director's Cut.

Sup Holmes is live talk show starring Destructoid editor Jonathan Holmes, airing every Sunday at 1p.m. PST. Every week, Sup Holmes features gaming industry professionals discussing the issues, and answering viewer questions. This Sunday, Holmes is chatting up Brian Provinciano of VBlank Entertainment, developers of Retro City Rampage.

321Go Cast is Destructoid's live-recording community podcast about nothing, airing at 2p.m. PST and starring JohnnyViral, Pangloss, and Ryu89. This week, the guys are joined again by their trusty stream host Sterling Lyons, and new cast member Chris Healy.

Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! starring Johnny Luchador and Bill Zoeker airs every Sunday at 4p.m. PST. Rad Show takes a light-hearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than completing feats of skill. This week the guys are starting off with some Castle Crashers, and moving on to some wacky shenanigans with the Kinect.

Catch all of Destructoid's live programming by following our channel on Twitch TV!

I'm sitting on the Fapcast's most recent recording. I just feel like I need a day for myself after, you know, freaking out about rent.

Why is every Quickpost now spaced out like poems with random amounts of stanzas that never ever rhyme?

Was anybody else here extremely disappointed by the ending of Assassin's Creed 2?

Just tried Fallout 4 on my PC Via my Cousins steam account and nope, it does not run for me very well. Buying the PS4 version it is!

Am I the only one who has to pull up their sleeves to play competantly at videogames? When my hoodie's sleeves are down I play like a piece of shit but when i pull them up, I have more flexibility.

PSA: Just picked up Falco amiibo at Best Buy. They had about 20 Tom Nook, 10 singles of Splatoon Boy/Girl, the Splatoon triple pack, about 30 Marths with a big sign saying "Look Who's Back!," Dark Pit, and probably about 15 others. Not too shabby.

I long for the day that people get over their weird circle jerk hatred for FFXIII related things and just ignore things they don't care about.

Being a video game-focused website, it's not often I get to gush about Godzilla. So have a link to one of my favorite tracks in the entire series:

Fallout 4 really does bring back memories. Specifically, memories of finding unlikely loot on a animal's corpse. I'm just grateful that Bloatfly didn't know how to use that 15 pound flamethrower it was apparently carrying in its bum bag.

I no longer require seasoning for my Thanksgiving dinner because between the Lightning post here and Undertale beating Fallout 3 in the "best game" vote on GameFAQs, I have all the salt I need. (Image) [img][/img]

Thanks for that Mother 4 article yesterday I've been listening to nothing but GBA-era soundtracks, truly my golden years of gaming.

If you stop to think about it, Thanksgiving is basically #Darksiders2: The Holiday.
