This Weekend on Twitch TV: Forever alone with Psychonauts
It's time for another super entertaining weekend on Destructoid's Twitch TV channel. It's going to be a bit unusual this time around. King Foom is taking it easy on Mash Tactics with some "A.D.D. Friday", to round out this week of relaxation. Crux has achieved retro Sega console streaming, which means he is about to unleash the horror of Sega CD on us all on Retroactive. Also, Caitlin seems to be missing from Weekend Escape, leaving Brett to play Psychonauts all by his lonesome and ask, "where has all the good 'donk' gone?" What we lack in "donk" this weekend, we make up for with the mystical beardliness of Philanthr0py as he continues to kill it with his Resident Evil franchise run on Chill with Phil. Conrad and Jordan are checking out Splatter, and likely whipping out a random retro game on Saturday Morning Hangover. And, Awdamn is putting up his dukes in Brawl Busters on Substituted Reality. Catch the full schedule below!
At the end of a week of post-PAX rest for King Foom, it will be a chilled out "A.D.D. Friday" on Mash Tactics. Tune in tonight to see who shows up on Skype, and see what games you can play with them live.
Substituted Reality is Destructoid's only PC exclusive gaming show, hosted by lovably offbeat caster, Awdamn, and airing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8p.m. Pacific. Awdamn has tonight off, but he's coming back Saturday with some Brawl Busters action. Sunday is going to be sexy time on the Normandy in Mass Effect 3.
Saturday Morning Hangover with Conrad Zimmerman and Jordan Devore airs from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Pacific. Come watch as they play the latest Xbox Live Indie Games demos for your enjoyment, and revel in the beauty of Conrad's mustache! This week, Conrad and Jordan are checking out the indie shooter, Splatter.
Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke every Saturday at 12p.m. Pacific as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It’s a safe bet that Cait is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point. Brett is flying solo this week, so he'll be testing his mental faculties in Psychonauts.
Chill with Phil airs this and every Saturday at 4p.m. Pacific. Host, Philanthr0py is continuing his full series playthrough of the Resident Evil franchise. This week, Phil is forging on in Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. Annoying Burnsides, and knife collisions won't stop Phil from getting through this final tank-controlled Resident Evil.
321Go Cast is Destructoid's live-recording community podcast about nothing, airing at 2p.m. Pacific and starring JohnnyViral, Pangloss, Chris Healy, and Ryu89. This week, the guys are getting crashed by a world-class buster, Spencer Hayes. Spencer is a new addition to Dtoid's community management, so stop by and get to know him a little better.
Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! starring Johnny Luchador and Bill Zoeker airs every Sunday at 4p.m. Pacific. Rad Show takes a light-hearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than completing feats of skill. This week, the guys are taking another crack at the Ghost Recon: Online beta.
Retroactive centers around the games of yesteryear. Every Sunday at 6p.m. Pacific, and Monday at 8p.m. Pacific, its host, Crux adventures through nostalgic games on the consoles of his childhood. Crux has finally solved the confounding enigma that is Sega console streaming. In celebration, Sunday will be Boogerman for the Genesis. Monday night will be the "terribad" Cliffhanger for Sega CD. Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Hey Brett, are you and Caitlin getting an internet divorce? Does that mean I have to live at Grandma's house for a while.
