This weekend on Dtoid TV: Torchlight 2 beta, dog!

5:00 PM on 05.11.2012 // Bill Zoeker

Let's kick this off with a little PSA. 321Go Cast will henceforth be broadcasting on Destructoid's new community livestreaming channel, Streamtoid. What the hell is that? Streamtoid is a new Twitch TV channel where Dtoid community members can apply to cast their very own shows. It's a bit like the C-Blogs. Expect to hear more about this project soon, but if you're interested in being on the channel, contact Spencer Hayes at Spencer[at]Destructoid[dot]com.

As for the good old Dtoid TV we all know and love, we got some stuff, and some things in store for you! It's kicking off this evening with Philanthr0py playing the Torchlight 2 beta, in place of Mash Tactics. Speaking of Phil, he finally beginning Resident Evil 4, arguably one of the best in the series, this Saturday on Chill with Phil. We've also got Brett clicking away by his lonesome in Monkey Island 2 on Weekend Escape. And Sunday, we're going back to Minecraft to ruin everyone's day on Rad Show: Get There! Check out the full schedule below.

Substituted Reality is Destructoid's only PC exclusive gaming show, hosted by lovably offbeat caster, Awdamn, and airing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8p.m. Tonight, Awdamn is taking cover behind the thick existentialism in Binary Domain. Saturday night will be shambling through some Left 4 Dead 2 with the audience. Sunday, Awdamn will be having fun with his big black tentacles in The Darkness II.

Saturday Morning Hangover with Conrad Zimmerman and Jordan Devore airs from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Pacific. Come watch as they play the latest Xbox Live Indie Games demos for your enjoyment, and revel in the beauty of Conrad's mustache! This week, Conrad and Jordan are considering teaming up for some Soldiers of Fortune for the SNES, if they can resist the call of more Awesomenauts.

Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke every Saturday at 12p.m. Pacific as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It’s a safe bet that Cait is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point. Brett is hanging by himself once again, but making the most of it with Monkey Island 2.

Chill with Phil airs this and every Saturday at 4p.m. Pacific. Host, Philanthr0py is continuing his full series playthrough of the Resident Evil franchise. This week, Phil is ready to save the girl, and dodge the chainsaw in Resident Evil 4.

Sup Holmes is live talk show starring Destructoid editor, Jonathan Holmes, airing every Sunday at 1p.m. Pacific. Every week, Sup Holmes features games industry professionals discussing the issues, and answering viewer questions. This Sunday, Holmes is chatting up Scott LeGrasta, a level designer for 2k Marin, as well as an independent game maker in his own right.

Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! starring Johnny Luchador and Bill Zoeker airs every Sunday at 4p.m. Pacific. Rad Show takes a light-hearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than completing feats of skill. This week, Johnny Luchador and yours truly are scorching the earth in Minecraft on Xbox 360.

Retroactive centers around the games of yesteryear. Every Sunday at 6p.m. Pacific, and Monday at 8p.m. Pacific, its host, Crux adventures through nostalgic games on the consoles of his childhood. Sunday night, Crux is busting all over your robot mastersin Mega Man 2 for the NES. Monday night, the kick and the punch are all in the mind, but also on Final Fight for Sega CD.

Finished playing the fan localization for Ace Investigations 2. These guys did a fantastic job, despite this game having the single most convoluted plot in the entire series. Here's hoping that somehow, someday, Great Ace Attorney will get this treatment.

Initial impressions: Chibi-Robo Zip lash is pretty damn fun so far. It's like Mr. Mosquito + Castlevania + Umihara. Controls are spot on, platforming is actually very solid so far, and the characters are about as charming as they can get. +amiibo.

Question: Is resident evil nemesis supposed to start off with a toolbox that has (unlimited) ink ribbon, 250 handgun ammo, magnum (w/ammo), shotgun (w/ammo) and two assault clips, in the first room of the game?????

BREAKING: Inner city man and "Pokemon Go" enthusiast found dead after entering rival gang's territory. "All he wanted was a Shiny Charizard!" according to an interview with a close friend. "We found him on the street, limp as a Magikarp stuck on a beach."

I completely forgot that Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow had an animated opening. Other than the compression, it actually looks really good today, and makes me wonder why Konami didn't commission some sort of Castlevania anime. That would have been sweet.

Gamestop has Splatoon amiibo up, if that's your thing. Totally didn't order and just cancel mine.
