This weekend on Dtoid TV: SFxT DLC Giveaway!

5:30 PM on 08.10.2012 // Rick KingFoom Olson

It's Friday, so you know what that means, another edition of Friday Night Fights on Mash Tactics, and the start to another weekend full of epic live content on Dtoid.TV! Tonight we'll be kicking off the festivities with a few rounds of Street Fighter X Tekken and Persona 4 Arena, for Xbox 360. If that wasn't enough to get you excited, we'll also be giving away DLC codes that will unlock twelve new characters in Street Fighter X Tekkento a few lucky viewers. Get there and get hype!

As well, this weekend Phil will be finishing up his playthrough of Alan Wake on Chill With Phil, Johnny Luchador will be doing his best to break RaiderZ on Rad Show: Get There!, and Crux will be stepping into the past once again with SuperC on Retroactive, The fun doesn't stop there however, so don't forget to tune in for the rest of our live shows all weekend long!

Check out our full schedule for the weekend:

All times are Pacific
4pm - Mash Tactics
It's time once again for Friday Night Fights! Join us for a few rounds of Street Fighter X Tekken, and P4A, or just come by and watch me get stomped!

[Each weekday, join King Foom for an interactive journey of laughter and gaming as he plays titles new, old and downright weird in our flagship variety show. Themed episodes every day, including multiplayer viewer participation, in this community-focused program]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Kick off your shoes, grab a tasty beverage, and get ready to social the night away with AwDamn as he dives into the original Crysis.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

10am - Saturday Morning Hangover
Get your coffee, shake off the Friday blur, and hang out with Conrad, Jordan, and Katina as they explore the "wonderful" world of Xbox Live Indie Games.

[Ease the pain from the night before with a little schadenfreude as Destructoid's Conrad Zimmerman, Jordan Devore and the lovely Katrina play the week's Xbox Live Indie Games demos and beg for death's sweet embrace.]
12pm - Weekend Escape
Brett and Caitlin didn't bother to tell us what they were going to play this weekend on their show. You should tease them about that.

[Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It's a safe bet that Caitlin is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point.]
4pm - Chill with Phil
Turn the lights down, and come and get your chill on with Phil tonight as he attempts to finish his current playthrough of Alan Wake.

[Philanth0py hosts this relaxed show in which he performs full game (and series) playthroughs.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
It's time again for AwDamn's usual Saturday co-op shenanigans. The flavor of the week this time is the always popular, Left 4 Dead 2.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

1pm - Sup, Holmes?
Join in on the conversation with Jonathan this afternoon, as he talks with Mike Bithell, designer of Thomas Was Alone.

[Join Destructoid's most lovable Associate Editor, Jonathan Holmes, for interviews with his friends in the game industry. Participate in the live chat and get your questions answered]

4pm - Rad Show: Get There!
Feel free to join in on the craziness this afternoon, as Johnny Luchador does his best to break the ever loving hell out of RaiderZ.

[Starring Johnny Luchador and Bill Zoeker, Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! takes a lighthearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than accomplishing feats of skill.]
6pm - Retroactive
Take a trip into the past with Crux, as he makes the classic NES game, SuperC his bitch. Then, stick around as he once again dives into The Adventures Of Link

[Retroactive centers around the games of yesteryear. Your host Crux adventures through nostalgic games on the consoles of his childhood.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Come hang out as AwDamn closes out the weekend with a laid back broadcast featuring Assassins Creed.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

In light of the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles X is fast approaching, I suggest we start planning out a Destructoid Squad! NNID is TysonOfTime. From what I've heard, it doesn't appear Squads are region locked (except for Japan), so everyone's welcome!

Listening to this on a Tall Oaks level of RE: Revelations 2's Raid Mode is entrancing, for some reason.

Need a reason to support Indivisible? Shantae is in it!. Back it or spread the word, every bit of help counts.

Sometimes I miss how hilariously janky Brawl was, and I still have a lot of fun playing it. Not sure if I could ever take it seriously as a competitive game, but I want to enter at least one Brawl tournament in the future. You know, if I can find one.

I love how on a slow news day I can always turn to Qposts for something else to read and think about. Keep up the mojo fellas!

I finally caved in to those sweet deals, got Shantae and The Pirate's Curse, Downwell and Super House of Dead Ninjas :)

I hope that Prototype runs better on my dad's old laptop than it does on my AMD gaming rig. Some badly coded games run like ass on AMD cards.

Please spare me from issues in the process of publishing my blog! Especially since I modified CSS to unnecessarily pseudo-crop an image, and make it so some images float next to text, and make it look decent on mobile. I'm a frickin' nerd, love it.

The night brims with defiled scum, and is permeated by their rotten stench. Just think, now you're all set to hunt and kill to your heart's content! #FashionBorne [img][/img]

Two more days to get in on the unofficial Christmas Card!
Solar Pony Django avatarSolar Pony Django has got a mystery sale on T Shirts and Tank Tops atm, $5 for each. Only catch is they're random. But I've had some good luck, got a Captain Falcon one before, Zombies ate my Neighbors and a Persona 4 X Earthbound crossover.

I would really, really love if "publish now" could work without me having to post a blog multiple because the site is such a mess right now.

I got it all the way back in spring, but I still haven't finished Majoras Mask. Think I've done the first temple.. It's hard not knowing where to go. All those linear corridors and objective markers in games has made me dumb and impatient.

A weekend open forum posted every Friday night would be really cool, at least until we get real forums again.

Went snowboarding for the first time in years. Crashed a lot, many times into trees. All that training in FF7 didnt do squat!

I am relieved to know Creed is a Rocky spin-off and not a feature-length documentary about the band.

Been playing Gears of War 3's campaign on Xbox One. Looks great on there, and Sam's voice actor is Chloe's voice actor in Uncharted 2/3. Hell yeah!
