Despite the fact that Nintendo has not yet sent out a press release regarding this week's Virtual Console releases, I'm about to blow your mind with what might be the best week of releases ever. Ready?
How about Breath of Fire II (SNES, 1 player, 800 Wii Points), Ghouls N' Ghosts (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points) and Super C (NES, 2 players, 500 Wii Points)? Soiled yourselves yet? Well, get to it, we won't judge you -- that's what we did at PAX all weekend!
I have to hand it to Nintendo -- this is the week where they could have released Deadly Towers, and no one would have noticed. We're all going to be too busy playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption to care, right?

Dude, just buy "Mega Man Anniversary Collection" and "Mega Man X Collection". Buy them used for like $12. Its out for GC. Unless you want to pay a shit load for each one just so you can play with the totally awesome Classic Controller.
Astoundingly, I've never played Earthbound. And I'm more than willing to give Nintendo cold, hard cash for it, should they present me the chance.

I have an insane fever dream that they will someday implement a networked multiplayer feature for all VC games, and they will inaugurate this technology with the release of Metal Warriors. There would be much soiling of trousers.
Also, the part at the beginning of BoF II where the ghostly hand punches the main character in the head is awesome. I've had that game on GBA for years now...
