I get the feeling that a considerable amount of people wrote off NinjaBee's Xbox LIVE Arcade game A Kingdom for Keflings simply because it supported playable Avatars. The concept sounds pretty gimmicky, I admit, but the execution is another story.
For such a slow-paced, relaxing game like this, it really does mesh nicely. During this week, A Kingdom for Keflings is only $5. Try the demo, and if you like what you see, definitely buy the game. There isn't anything else like it on XBLA.
Plus, it's got great cooperative play for anyone trying to ease their significant other into gaming one step at a time. Basically, you need this thing in your house.

Really, the game isn't built around avatars, it simply has avatar support. And it's pretty damn fun, too...
NinjaBee, I love the game but it lacks longevity. Please make a sequel soon and add in a little more depth to the gameplay please? :D
Still a fun game, but it would have been cool to have local co-op.
