The first thing I said when looking at JoeCamNet's gaming setup was "HOLY SH*T!" Needless to say, JoeCamNet has a huge collection of videogames. He has some awesome collectors items, a Virtual Boy, and the awesome Gears of War 2 collectors Lancer. A couple Dtoiders recapped Blipfest, Tubatic keeps finding gold, the site has gotten a little facelift, atheistium celebrates her Birthday, a new Desutoid has arrived, The GHost made new Destructoid Cards, and plenty more happened this past week in the Community.
Before hitting the jump, Santa has given me a special message: Everyone who doesn't add a Santa hat on their avatar will be getting N-Gages for Christmas. Don't worry if you have an animated GIF avatar though, Santa will let you slide.
Highlights begin this week with more Blipfest lovin. The Chip Tunes master at Dtoid, Zen Albatross, threw up several videos of performances from Blipfest 2008. Check out Nullsleep, StarScream and others kick some Chiptune ass. Speaking of Chiptunes, check out Zen Albatross' Winter Holiday Mixtape.
Tubatic found a treasure chest filled with retro gaming magazines. Among the magazines, he found the third issue of Nintendo Fun Club News magazine that was all about The Legend of Zelda. So awesome. He also found a treasure chest filled with original NES games and Sega Master Games all with the original boxes!
Faith showed off more of her Perler Bead gaming sprites. There are a number of videogame characters and my favorite is easily her Master Chief one.

manasteel88 is back with another edition of his RetroforceGO! episodes in video form. This time it's for episode 68 on Sonic the Hedgehog.
GuitarAtomik is appearing on a compilation CD and he updated his own Web site. I've been longing for a Lyrics page.
If you're blind and haven't noticed yet, the navigation bar has changed. It's sexier than ever and the Forums nav bar was finally updated as well! On top of that, the load time on the site has been improved too. Oh, and the random quotes are back too! If you have a suggestion for a random quote, leave a comment on Niero's blog.
LaxLuster shared a couple of stories on the blogs this past week about his little daughter and her experience with videogames. Her first videogame was Saints Row 2 and LaxLuster cleverly disguised all the violent aspects of the game from her. Such as when LaxLuster shoots people in the game, it's really LaxLuster "taking a picture" of people in the game. She's also rocking out like a rockstar in Guitar Hero.

Rezie has created a brand new Desutoid helmet. It's not as shiny as the last one, but it has the ModernMethod Network advertised on all sides of it. Nice!
Tactix, along with members from DtoidSanFrancisco, got into a Capcom Press Event last week. Tactix got to play with Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando, try on the Bionic Commando arm, and had a great time. I can't say enough how awesome Capcom is for letting gamers into their events like this.
Mikey showed off his latest Tell Me What to Draw art piece. This time it's of Athena Asamiya and Yuna rocking out at a concert.
Highlights end this week with the return of The GHosts' Destructoid Cards! DanGale and Stella Wong both got themselves some cards.
