This trailer for Warside doesn't let up for a second

Talk about intense! D'you think the players in this trailer for Warside ever take their finger off the firing button? When I first started watching the trailer above, I initially though this was a 2D platformer/shooter in the vein of either Shadow Complex, Intrusion 2, or even the recent Strider reboot. Turns out Warside is an online, team-based game with an RPG system too.

Currently on Greenlight and developed by Russian studio Kraken Games, Warside has got co-op action, which is something that's always going to get my interest. The idea of a 2D online shooter is pretty unique too; I wonder how well you're going to get a sense of scale or what your entire team is up to. Something like Awesomenauts works due to its MOBA-style gameplay and small player count but Warside looks pretty different.

Also it has jetpacks which is a big thumbs up from me.

This Dreadnought video shows you how to actually play Dreadnought

As I learned at PAX Prime, actually knowing how to play Dreadnought is half the battle. It's an enamoring idea to rush in with the quickest ship and fire until either you or your target is dead. If that's your approach,...more
