This Team Fortress 2 mod is a Star Fox deathmatch mode

As if the range of things people do with Team Fortress 2 wasn't already expansive enough, now there's a mod in the works which transforms the game into a aerial combat exercise featuring ships and graphical elements that bear no small resemblance to Nintendo's Star Fox games.

The mod, called "Star Fortress," is still in development and being worked on by Gray Mann Gaming, a group which runs a series of TF2 servers with assorted mod games. The above footage represents what is described as "pre-alpha" content, and further updates on the mod's progress are expected to be delivered through their Steam group.

Looks neat, and if Nintendo can't be bothered to put an Arwing back on my big screen and let me shoot my friends, it's nice to see someone else pick up the charge.

Mod completely sinks Los Santos into the ocean in GTA V

Oh this is just fantastic. A modder by the name of Bushigan has submerged Los Santos into the ocean. The mod was accomplished through a modded PlayStation 3, and as you can see life sort of goes on while Grand Theft Auto V's main city is ravaged by waves. You can make this happen yourself, so long as you have a modded PS3 that is. (Via Kotaku)more

Blade of Darkness looks new again thanks to modding

Last year, I found out about Severance: Blade of Darkness, a hack-and-slash PC game from 2001. What a gem. While its combat -- the sort of calculated action we adore in From Software's Souls games -- continues to hold up all...more
