As a musician, this developer diary video on the sound of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is fascinating. The series is known for its outstanding audio, and it sounds like they went all out this time around. Even as a gamer, you should definitely check this out.
The first half of the video focuses on the recording of the main theme for Skyrim, which was supposed to sound like barbarian men in chorus. They nailed it, so much so that even watching the recording session gave me goosebumps. I would kill to be at a session like this.
The rest of the video covers the voice work for Skyrim. There's some 80 actors playing over 100 roles this time. You can see some of the performances being recorded in the video by celebrity talent.
