This nerd's gaming setup is better than yours photo

Got nerd envy? If so, this will drive you nuts. Forget modding consoles, this guy modded the whole damn cabinet. WHAT A LOSER!!! Just kidding, I'm just extremely jealous. So, don't mind me. Check out what this dude did. Impressive huh? Look at those glowey things! Isn't that frickin' awesome?!?! I bet he gets all the chicks now. His milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and I sit here green with envy.

I don't have the case fans, but I've at least four times the amount of consoles that dork has. But he has a little fluffy bunny on the floor. Respect.

Those lights would be cool if that thing was used at LAN parties, but why would you want that in your house? Does the guy have a wife or what?

You don't need a wife when you got what's going on in that cabinet.

Once he gets a cover for the back panel, this will be amazing. Right now though, there's too many wires in the back. Looks like a roadie came in a setup shop. Otherwise, most impressive.

And yeah, no room is complete without a little fluffy bunny on the floor.

You all know you want it. Reminds me of the time I turned every system I had on and took a picture in the dark. The worst part is I could ID every system that way.

Summa - need a wife/girlfriend when that "feeling" hits. But then again thats probably why he has that fluffy little bunny.

I think you're all missing the point here - he has all three next-gen systems, the PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360. We must find him and crush him.

Truth be told, I find it a bit gaudy. It would've been nicer as just a closed, vented stand that held all of his consoles

It lacks wire management and is offensive to the eyes and the senses (do you KNOW how loud all those 80mm fans would be?).

I'll pass, thanks.

My TV is n00bishly bigger than his. Though his set up is probably worth more than the TV itself! XD

...Forget that...the PS3 probably cost more than anything in that room!

The 360 wasn't loud enough so he said, "I'm gonna make my entire cabinet sound like a 360 orchestra!" If he really wanted to cool them, he's have made a cabinet out of dri-ice. That's what cool people do anyway. Pun intended.

the guy probably when to John's house, his only friend, and took a picture of HIS setup. Then posted it on the net as "I R have teh gr34test setupppp ev4R!!11!1 one one one" then crawled to the corner of his PS3/Wii/Xbox360/HDTV-less living room and rocked back and forth chanting mario bros. theme music.

Ehh. Not only does it need a back panel cover, but a cabinet door would help too. Unless he had an Atari Jaguar...then that should be the centerpiece and be made fully visible at all times.

That setup is nice but those wires in the back need to be rubber banded or twist tied or something.

I guess I should take a photo of my gaming rig for comparison's sake.

I guess this guy didn't realize that case fans only work to disperse heat if there's a channel to draw heat from. Open air consoles sitting on a shelf are not a channel.

WOW! Thats the hottest thing I've ever seen, cheap wood with blue lights. Also I like the attention he gave little details like how the new consoles appear to floating. It won't get more futuristic than that.

form and function, the LED's down either side are actually those cheap fans you can find at your local pc shop to supe up your l33t rig. he's obviously got it hooked up to a power supply, i wonder if the fans are active as well. nothing like a glowing tower of 'whirrrrrrrrrrr' while you game, b/c your 360 doesn't make enough noise on its own.. plus not sure how effective fans are outside of the console. eihter way, it looks cool, extra points for the controller mounts as well.

That setup is horrible on every level. This post would've been much better if it were mocking the harsh blue lighting, nonsensical fan setup, big mess of wires, lack of backpanel and front door, and what looks like a shitty audio setup. And the bunny.

The thing you don't see is that the sweet gaming cabinet resides in a room utterly empty but for a couple of pizza boxes, soda cans, and a stack of damp smut mags.
