When it comes to the second annual XBLA "Summer of Arcade" line-up, one game more than any other appears to be the odd man out for most people. Although you could probably argue otherwise, I would suggest that it is Trials HD.
We were handed some new footage of the physics-based racing game, and believe it or not, I'm beginning to come around. The fact that it has an online enabled level creator had me looking already, but the more I see of Trials HD, the more interested I become.
I never got around to playing Trials on PC, but I don't need to play it to tell you that it's going to be awesome when you're good at it and can pull off stunts like the person in the trailer. On the flip side, Trials HD will almost certainly be dreadful when you suck at it and also cause you to cry out harsh phrases.
But sometimes, you need a game that's not afraid to kick your ass.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

I bought a copy of Trials 2 a long time ago and I've still never played it. I heard it's good, but I never really had any interest in playing. I probably wouldn't even own it if it didn't come with an indie pack on Steam.
I got Trials second editon on Steam, and some levels are so hard, I want trash my keyboard, then I look at the replays of world's top players and get ashamed of myself..
I´m so excited and I just can´t hide it.
I´ve spent over 100 hours in Trials 2 for PC (#865 on Leaderboards), but playing this with a gamepad will be a new challenge. I so hope the controls work.
Console gamers still wanna say PC gaming is dead and no longer innovative? Great game! Enjoy! I will be swooping it up for my X360 as well. Good game, good company, worth supporting..

This reminded me a lot of Kickstart 2, as well. I had a lot of fun with the level editor. Hopefully this one has a good editor and some outdoor scenery. Can't forget that.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Same here. It's awesome, but some levels are crazy.

PC version of Trials was a pretty good time waster.

Kickstart 2 even had a level creator.
