This is how you play Awesomenauts
Dtoid has been covering Awesomenauts pretty heavily, but there's still a bunch of people who are in the dark as to what this game is about. To help, the guys at Ronimo Games put together a little video to help explain what the dealio is. The basic gist is that Awesomenauts is a combination action platformer and MOBA (no, not that MOBA). Using your player character, you're tasked with reaching the other side of the map and destroying your opponent's Solar Drill -- once the drill's taken out, you win the round. On your trek to the drill, other players, NPCs, and turret checkpoints will attempt to stop you. Of course, you have access to the same technology as your opponent. If this sounds interesting, you'll be able to check it out on XBLA and the PSN next week (it's free for Plus members on the PSN). But you know what? Despite how awesome this game looks, I almost wrote "Psychonauts 2" in the title for a second...excuse me while I go cry in a corner. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)The theme song alone makes me want to try it out.
