While Frank West might be Capcom's favorite character ever at the moment, that doesn't mean he's going to be featured in the sequel to his own game, Dead Rising 2. No, this time around players are controlling Chuck Greene. But how did Chuck come to be?
Game Informer has the answer. They've posted an article on the evolution of Chuck from the beginning of development on Dead Rising 2 up until now. It's almost shocking to see how many changes Chuck went through to get here, especially when you see where he started it out. It almost looks like a completely different game was in development for a solid period of time.
I'm a fan of where they ended up because some of that work is just way too generic.
