This fish is playing Pokémon very slowly, and a lot of people are watching

Twitch has a thing for playing Pokémon. Typically, it's a crowdsourced game with tens of thousands of players all helping input controls. Some college kids recently scaled that back and are trying to accomplish the same thing with just a fish.

Grayson the fish is trying to play Pokémon Red, although there's a good chance he doesn't know it. With his bowl sectioned off into nine zones -- eight of which host different controls -- Grayson's swimming around and trying to catch 'em all.

The stream's description says that he's 135 hours in (more by now), and he's not exactly conquering the Elite Four anytime soon. However, he has managed to select Charmander as his starter and defeat Squirtle. Because even a fish knows that Charmander's the best starter Pokémon.

Pokémon Puzzle Challenge coming to 3DS next month

I love Pokémon Puzzle Challenge.  I am glad that it is coming to the 3DS Virtual Console. I think I will pay $5 for it despite still having a cartridge. I probably won't bother with the code for the Special Demo Version of Ruby and Sapphire it comes with, but that's fine. It is a lovely little game. I think I will go play it right now. more
