Think you're a hardcore Pac Man fan? Think again. photo

No matter how much you love the little yellow guy, I guarantee you don't love him as much as this dude does. Gamer tattoos can range from cool to totally awful, but this is flat out insane. If you read the link, Malaysian native Will says the piece represents his perception of the path of life. It seems that his path is destined to include invincibility pellets and ghosts. That's some deep cosmic sh*t right there.

Holy crap! This is the sort of thing I could never do to myself. But on someone else it's all kinds of awesome. Surely that was so excruciating, in terms of pain and time taken.

yeah, thats some ugly shit there.

Now, if it were one of the actual pac-man (or better yet, MS Pac-Man) maps, then it would be cool.

the ghost looks like it was just drawn on as a joke and not really a permenant pac man reference

Hideous. Just hideous.

The little Xs are placeholders, so the artist knows what to fill in with black later on. The ghost is also there to inform the artist to leave room for a more refined image later on. (If he shades all of the box in black, he can't place a colorful ghost over it. He'll have to tattoo in the ghost before the black.)

All that said... HOLY MOTHER! I don't want to know how long that took!

@ Destroda

Thank goodnes. I was like "why get a pac man tatoo and then have a lame ass ghost and a bunch of X's on it?"

If he was a hardcore fan, shouldn't this be... hardcore?

Like, shouldn't it be an actual Pac-Man map? This looks like it was pretty random.

Looks kind of like it was more meant to be a labyrinth style maze more than it does Pac-Man. But kudos either way.

I think it's amazing. How anyone can find it hideous is beyond me.

Yeah I don't think it's Pac Man at all, just the ghost was drawn on as a joke.

The map isn't any of the Pac Man maps and doesn't have pellets etc. Besides it's too narrow for the ghost to move out of the central part which seems a bit pointless.

The guy says the maze is an indication of the paths we take in life which I think is pretty darn cool though.

I don't think this counts as a gamer tattoo... it looks nothing like a pac-man map and if someone hadn't drawn the ghost in as a joke you'd never put the 2 together.... it's just a maze tattoo

@Not Matt

I agree, not pacman related at all. From the link "Notice the void in the middle of my tattoo. I’m leaving it blank until the day I found my true self... and then I will put something in it.”

It's still a reference to the yellow dot.

Ask me nicely and I'll show my gaming tattoo.

Nice, I doubt it's Pac Man related. The ghost is there as a joke as someone pointed out before.

My first reaction was "yeesh", but that's largely because of how fucking painful it looks. Given a few weeks to heal and become more natural looking, and it will be a pretty damn cool tat.

Wow it must've taken hours to do that... But as other people pointed out, it doesn't look much like from pacman... just an regular-looking maze.

considering this thread I actually think this is rather appropriate. anybody who covers themselves with tattoos (I have nothing against a few) with these "theme" graphics is just a grade A douche-lord

This isn't a Pac-Man tattoo at all.

It is just a maze. That ghost isn't permanent. Did anyone read the blog these pics came from?

This is destructoid. People don't read here, they just look at the pretty pictures.

But the meaning behind that tattoo is interesting, and definitely makes it ten times better.

truely disgusting. Easily one of the ugliest gaming tats I've ever seen.

Also, not using an actual pav man map was a totally retarded move.

Shame on him and shame on the "artist" who agreed to do this tat.
