I can't be the only one who enjoys FPS's, is tired of Call of Duty's generic design, and actually does follow through when they say they aren't going to buy it anymore. I can't be the only one.
It is a simple concept. It really, really is. Super, super simple. If you find that the yearly Call of Duty releases have negatively affected their quality, what you should do is refrain from using monies earned at your job to hand to a cashier who will then hand you a copy of said Call of Duty game.
Here is a foolproof plan to avoid supporting something you say you don't like. When November rolls around, and it is launch day for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, don't buy it. Now hold on, I know what you're thinking "Gee, we aren't superheroes, how do you expect us to do such amazing things?". I understand this is difficult for some of you.
I know that it is hard to actually follow through on your desire to stop supporting the game. But, if you follow me three step plan, you can't fail. First you need to ask yourself one simple question. Do you want to play it? If you answered "Yes!" then buy the game and have fun! That's why the game is there, for you to buy and enjoy if you so choose. If your answer is "No!" then follow these three steps.
Step 1- Don't buy it then
Step 2- I don't care how many of your friends are playing it, don't fucking buy it
Step 3- You know you're going to buy it anyway, so how about you stop bitching like a little brat, buy the game, and enjoy it.

From my perspective if you dislike something you should ignore or avoid it but for whatever reason when it comes to COD people actively seek to dislike it I don't understand that.
@EKG: I follow through when I say I won't buy something, but this is the first CoD I'm genuinely excited for in a long time.

I guarantee that all of these people will gladly run to Gamestop on launch day and pick up two copies of the game each. One that they can play, and another one that they will smash on camera and upload it to Youtube.
I had to block out most of those comments. Such atrocious writing hurts my brain. But I think I was able to make out what they were trying to say. What I got was, "Black Ops 2 will be no different from former COD games." Yeah, I think that's what it was. What did you guys get out of it?
I can actually get behind zdepapepa on the dubstep thing. Although his syntax does make his point somewhat muddled.
Ive played every single COD out for the ps3.. i started with MW2. blops was the worse game ever created for the series.. MW3 was the most innovated game ever. and none of them are the same.. the controls are but the games themselves are different enough to give them their own merits.. and no game was as big as MW3.. i will never buy a blops game ever.. treyarch are horrible..

The first war shooter that does away with this crap can have my money because this looks fine. But with all that noise I don't even bother

ironically Black Ops II is the first Call of Duty I have any interest in playing due to the futuristic setting, which to me is a hell of a lot more interesting than the "modern warfare" setting
