Once again Nintendo live up to their reputation as the last true innovators in the videogame industry.
Still don't know what's so innovative about collecting tons of coins, but the co-op is sure to be fun. If I can find anybody to play it with. Coin Rush will be a fun challenge though (especially with its StreetPass functionality).
I think they got rid of the traditional lives system. When you die, it's gona cost ya some coins. I'm hoping the difficulty curve is like in new super mario bros wii, the later levels had challenge to em and it was fun for that
The ND trailer has me exited for the game even though i was going to skip it for the Wii U version but i really want to play it on the 3DS xl

Dudes , my buddy said you can exchange the coins for real money if you bring your 3DS to Nintendo headquarters in Japan.
I'll play it, but I don't want to pay more than $15 for it. It's hard to drop $40 on this when I can get Mutant Mudds & Switch Force on the eShop.
I felt ripped off for the first two NSMB games, and I'm not going to be suckered into buying these ones. Indie platformers like Super Meat Boy and other AAA platformers like Rayman Origins are giving me a much better, fresher experience than these games.
I keep waiting for nintendo to surprise and excite me again but every time they announce or detail something it just seems like the same old stuff. Just not impressed anymore. It's a shame, they were always my favorite growing up.

I really dislike how the jumping feels in NSMB, maybe they changed it this time but i doubt it.Won't be something i'll be picking up until i get more feedback.

I feel the same way. NSMB has really floaty jumping mechanics. I much prefer the really tight controls of the earlier super mario bros titles and games like super meat boy.

Looks fun! I wonder if there will be any cross-platform play between NSMB U and this one. Could be really cool if done right.
