Way better than having Kevin Butler sitting on a horse rallying the Sony faithful to soldier on in the fight against all enemies of gaming (your girlfriend, your parents, other people who don't "get it") on some random battlefield while a few guys play Resistance 3 in the background on screens so small that you can't really see any gameplay.

I watched this earlier and it is the cheesiest most contrived thing I have ever seen.
Harrison can't even be bothered to fake excitement while playing it. Also I didn't look too closely but some people have said the controller isn't even on.

@Phil The first two videos are 90% Harrison's face. The 3 second of game footage would be no different than the cover of a gaming magazine, spoiler wise.
Uncharted games are so on-rails, they are pretty much like a QTE movie sadly. I don't mind them, but the game is more simple then Wii Sports really. Because there is no game, basically press buttons when you are ordered to. That is why I will never pay full price for Uncharted games, because they just graphics designers having a lot of fun creating special effects and writers trying to make witty lines, not actual gaming.

Japan gets all the cool "actors in commercials" commercials.. Seems like all we get here is a bunch of Make-up commercials with Drew Barrymore, or sports figures in commercials that only end up creepy (Reggie Bush in Pizza Hut commercials? Really?).

I love Guitar Hero, Frostbite, Battletoads, VVVVVV, Super Street Fighter IV, Trackmania Nations and this. Count me in on buying this game day one!
I'm pretty sure it's partly intended as a nod to the fact that Drake is largely based off Indiana Jones.

No, I never have. I've brought Killzone 3 when it was cheap a few months back and went straight to the multiplayer. I tried playing the single player but I just COULD NOT get through it. I might have played 2 hours of the single player and that is it. It bored the living daylights out of me. To its credit its multiplayer was alright even though leveling in FPS piss me off most of the time. I did get through Uncharted 2 due to its other hooks though, characters were more interesting, scenery was great but I probably would not play it again.
So there you go, I don't buy fully priced linear games. Happy?
