These Fallout 3 DLC screens are ninjarific photo

Excited for the first Fallout 3 downloadable content pack, Operation: Anchorage? I know I certainly am, even more so after seeing these three new screenshots.

For those not up to speed, Operation: Anchorage will be released later this month for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 for PC users), and is said to take around 4 hours or so to complete.

Similar to the Fallout 3 quest Tranquility Lane, this DLC pack retells the battle between American and Chinese troops in Alaska using a computer simulation. Out of the core Fallout 3 missions, Tranquility Lane was among the most memorable, so here's hoping Bethesda can pull it off again.

Who here wants that badass ninja outfit from the header image?

You can continue playing after the main quest with this DLC, right?

Cos I unknowingly saved right before the end and am now fucked.

Needs a higher level cap. Either way, I'm grabbing all 3 packs.

I hope this is like that ST:TNG where Picard finds the flute from the virtual life he experienced. Complete the mission and unlock a storage box with the goodies you picked up in the sim to use in the real game.

Any word on if the PS3 edition will get the DLC?

I got the ps3 edition as a gift instead of the pc edition. I would be heart broken if I can't ever play this awesome looking content.

I would love to but for some stupid f@cking reason they aren't putting these on the ps3

I LOVE what they did with the fallout series but Bathesda can go f#ck themselfs, along with Valve too.(I know valve has nothing to do with this except for the fact that they are being stupid and not releasing their games on the ps3)

CJ: I think they will do that. I believe the explanation (POSSIBLE SPOILERS) is that you are doing VR missions to help some faction in the wasteland research pre-war technology. I would assume that when you complete the DLC the 'research' would result in them developing actual tech (new weapons and armor!) back in the wasteland.

So, judging by that screen, either the Americans or the Chinese had those Crysis suits in the war.

@Aurion do yourself a service and start over. its more fun the 2nd time around. I admit I didn't want to either but my Crapbox 360 hard drive died on me. But I'm glad I did. This time I played as a neutral character. I might do it again to play as an evil one.

Also I remember seeing somewhere that the DLC will come out for PS3 but you'll have to wait per the contract with M$

Actually, the third DLC pack due out in (I think) March is going to raise the level cap.

@ZMTToxics

Ready your heart break. Fallout DLC is only for the XBOX and the PC. Bethesda, Valve, even R* apparently only want SOME of PS3's users money :P.

If at least these DLC exclusivities would be timed, I would have no problem. Not having the chance to play this sweet-looking expansion because I actually bought the PS3 version instead of the PC one really sucks.

I agree with Mattchewie. Especially on the GTA IV downloadable content --- They took so long with it that no one cares now, and it wasn't even worth having it be console exclusive.

If there is a man wearing that suit, he will die. He will die by my hand and I will take his armor and I will wear his armor, after which I will take off his armor because it will be difficult to repair, just like that goddamn fucking T-51b power armor. I will then install a mod that allows me to repair the armor with scrap metal, and all will be well and right in the world.
